Tips for Industrial Chiller Maintenance.

Here we are talking about daily maintenance of water chiller, not that you need to fix it when it is broken, just the tips for keeping it running healthily.

Most of us pay little attention to industrial chiller unit. As a worker in a chiller manufacturer, I always joke that chiller unit is something that you will not notice its existence until it is broken down. People always focus on the bigger equipments, try everything to protect them and make them constantly run.

But most of us ignore a fact, that although chiller unit works as auxiliary equipment in most production process, we are not able to continue the production as long as it goes down.

Of course we don't want a sudden stop of our chiller unit, then try to read this article and pay more attention to routine inspection and maintenance of it.

Difference between Screw Chiller and Scroll Chiller

Senho industrial chiller units can be divided into many categories in different ways. We will have air-cooled type chiller and water-cooled type chiller if classify according to cooling types. If classify them by different applications, we can get Laser Chillers, HVAC Chillers, etc. Now we are talking about screw chiller and scroll chiller  of Senho Machinery, which are two categories according to different compressor type. Different Types of Evaporators in Industrial Chiller

As one of the most important parts in a chiller, the purpose of evaporator is to transfer the cooling energy from cold refrigerant(gas) to water or other coolant. There are three main types of evaporator for  industrial chillers , they are coil type, shell and tube type and plate type. Here we are comparing these three types of evaporators from aspects of  Heat Transfer Efficiency, Requirement for Water Quality, Convenience of Maintenance  and  Space Occupation. 1.     Heat Transfer Efficiency. Heat transfer efficiency is very important for a heat exchanger. Normally, plate type evaporator has the highest efficiency than others, because its more precise structure. Why do you want cheap products?

There was one customer once told me about his opinion:"We buy industrial chiller from China because we know it is not expensive, so there is no reason a Chinese brand offer me high price, I won't accept it." Well, we always think that China are not capable of making top quality products. Honestly, I personally thought the same 3-5 years ago. But in recent years, things has obviously changed. I'm not saying that all Chinese manufacturers just hop into the rank of TOP brand, I am saying that China has a different economy environment than before.  You can easily learn from your Chinese supplier that  cost of materials are rising for the past few months.
