Chiller or Cooling Tower?
Chiller and cooling tower are both cooling equipments, but the working principle is quite different. If we compare them with our daily used home appliances, a chiller is like air conditioner, while a cooling tower is like a fan. You can easily see the difference: air conditioner can bring the temperature lower than ambient, while fan can not. In industrial process, you can also easily decide what is suitable for you. If your process requires water temperature lower than the ambient, then only chiller unit can meet the requirement. For example, you need cooling water temperature around 15℃, but your ambient temperature is not lower than 15℃, then cooling tower can not manage this case.
